LCA Election Day Stall We are having a stall at the Lyneham Shops on Election Day, Saturday 17 October. Unfortunately we won't have any democracy sausages but we can tell you about our election priorities statement and candidates' responses. Come along and say hello and let us know what your priorities are for Lyneham and North O'Connor. |

Committee News This year has been a write-off for public gatherings due to Covid, but it looks like restrictions in the ACT are easing at last and we can start getting more active. Our Friends of Magpie Hill met last weekend to plan their future parkcare activities. They are looking to start at the southern end near the Wattle St/Mackennal St intersection with some erosion control and mulching and putting log barriers around the remnant native ground covers. If you would like to know more please email magpiehill@lyneham.org.au Our Planning Sub-committee has been waiting to see what comes out of the ACT election and if this will lead to changed planning policies and development pressures. If you would like to get involved please email contact@lyneham.org.au Our new ACT Government-funded project to develop a heritage trail around Lyneham is getting underway. More news to come! |
